Destiny Awaits us! 48hrs!
T-minus 48 hours. On the brink of something unprecedented. With the generosity of so many friends and family, we've funded 19 classroom projects in under-resourced public schools throughout the US. Over $8,200 of much needed supplies getting to kids in struggling neighborhoods. And also, thanks to so many, I'm #1 fundraiser in San Francisco currently out of 60 mustache growers. But there's a #2 on my tail, only a couple hundred dollars behind me. And up ahead, the possibility of being the #1 grower and growing team in the country.Let's make history people. Help some amazing kids and show them what friends can do when they unite for something good!
mustache exploits
Has it only been three weeks since I embarked on this adventure? Am I truly the same person who set path on this perilous journey so many days ago? Clearly not. My life-- and my upper lip-- have changed considerably.
I feel like a boy gone to a man. A fuller human being. I've grown a manly, respectable mustache for the first time in my adult life, met and come to know many a man from all walks of life that dances the top lip party, and shaved my head bald to get a good portion of what I have been able to raise to date.
And the results have been staggering. Almost $8,000 raised. Fully funded 18 technology projects for public school classrooms-- equipment that the teachers themselves request. Giving kids their first access to computers. Kids whose only disadvantage is where they grew up.
A tremendous thanks to all who have given so generously to get us to this point. And a enthusiastic request for those who have not to check out these projects and chip in for these kids' educational future.
One thousand follicles of thanks,
Ahmad
